Significant Member Pages?
Anyone cept me play unreal tournament here, i might protest for a neo wiki.Blinded_by_fate
would this be deemed a decent type of entry or not? -- Key zer
People would start making their own pages if that occured, maybe it could work if say, users must have been a super-moderator or above to have a page. Beats me.--Guillotine 17:12, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Just dropping in to say I'm down for helping out. Now to figure out how to work this wiki thing.... --Ecto5 12:08, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeah I figured that your every day member shouldn't get a page, but people like Redemption or Superfast maybe? --Key zer 11:31, 13 July 2008 (UTC)
So... what should we do to start the process of creating this potential beast of a Wiki? Obvious things are to put things here like guides, forum synopses... fun facts pages? Hmm... just trying to start a discussion here. --Kjgmusic 01:22, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Mod listings, maybe?
The only problem with a mod listing is that it'd need to be kept up to date constantly :S does anyone have the content from what was on Wikipedia? --tekmosis19:49, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I really like the idea of this one, but its tough to know what to put down, or perhaps how comprehensive people want this to be. I will say though, with Mod listings, updating regularly is really no problem as this is in a wiki format, lol! --Guillotine 00:06, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
I think a mod listing would be a cool idea. Also like a list of previous mods, but i don't know if you guys have records of that. A "dedication" to each super maybe too, like they can have their own page. For example, if you would make one about "Jeevan", it could have content like "big" things he has done, or what not.
Also, maybe a page dedicated to each forum, not including games. Like, Web Coding and Loungin' *shudders*

Hmm, I think the moment pages for individual members are created, everyone will want a piece and as such it may need a lot of supervision. This wiki certainly needs more exposure though regardless. It's just hard to know what's in order to do. Tek, as the only member of staff, tell us what needs doing lol --Guillotine 22:54, 6 July 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'm liking this little fiasco we are having with all the editing at once, lol. --lord monkey 21:25, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Lol, me too --User:R1DDL3S
Hmm, I just noticed this wiki. Why exactly do we need a wiki for Neoseeker though? I kinda thought it was self explanatory, and anything that wasn't is already in the forums... Ahh well.
Also, how do you get those dates on the end?
I wonder that too, probably manual input. As for what we are doing, hm...just look around and try to add information to any page you can. We are just adding information about Neoseeker and the various features as well as some of the other Neo-era media sites. :) --R1DDL3S
 Manuals/Help Guides
Specific Help on some of the lesser known features on Neoseeker would make for good topics.
Please avoid adding details relating to features of restricted nature.
R1D: What about topics such as gaining a NeoHome before 50 posts?
- Mark-up guide?
- Reporting posts?
- My NeoForum?
Will do... --lord monkey 21:51, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
There's a bunch of people that actually have some pretty good guides up in their NeoHomes. I think getting in contact with them would be really great. Some of the people off the top of my head who have, or had good ones. At the moment the only person I can think of was Deis. --tekmosis
So you think we should contact people like Ecto5? --R1DDL3S
Ecto5 would be a good idea...
As for Deis, her Neohome is filled wih stories..--lord monkey 00:31, 9 July 2008 (UTC)
I just noticed the General Disclaimer links to the GTA page...can we have our own from this Wiki?
Why was the logo removed? --Ecto5
Xenc told me that we would find out in a sec through a PM
 Stop with definitions please
I think we need to stop creating pages just because we can.
pages like Guestbook serve no purpose. We do NOT want to have definition pages, 99% of them are obvious (sorry RIDDL3S, not picking on you :P). What we should have created instead is something like a page such as "Guestbook Etiquette and Usage Guide", where members can help describe how to use teh guestbook, etiquette, and maybe some links to some really memorable Guestbook entries.
Pages like RIDDL3S Profile page make more sense, since it talks more about how to use the profile. But it could have been called "Profile Editing and User Guide".
Remember, we're not looking for definitions, we're looking for things to help other users know how to use our features, and perhaps some tips from veterans. Think Documentation, not just definitions!

Alright. I understand where you are coming from. One page hurt, another healed :P
Logo would look better if it were transparent, me thinks. --Ecto5
Maybe the logo would, idk though.
Also, in response to "Hmm, I think the moment pages for individual members are created, everyone will want a piece and as such it may need a lot of supervision", each member actually have their own page. Like I can go here, and have my own page. What is the general "rule" about editing those pages on ALL the wikis? --lord monkey 03:19, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
I uploaded an image I didn't want. How do I remove it? o.O --Ecto5
You need to get Staff to delete it, DUH =P - Seldom
 Old Wikipedia Page?
I found this page while on Google. I don't have much time to pick it apart, but maybe Ecto5 or someone else can.
Good god, what happened to the main page? --Ecto5 20:39, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Perhaps somebody can write this page for me? I can't say I'd do a job I'd be satisfied with. Perhaps someone who's been here longer with mucho knowledge could take over the page. --Ecto5 04:20, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
