New GameGrep Homepage

GameGrep is a social gaming news site created by Neo-Era Media which is targeted towards gamers and gaming enthusiasts. The site was first launched and put into beta on April 12th, 2007.

Members registered on Neoseeker may login with the same credentials (username/password) that they normally use to login to Neoseeker. Alternatively, registering on GameGrep also allows you to log into Neoseeker.

Once logged in users may rate articles, submit their own news and make comments on existing articles.

You can achive points by participating throughout the site by actions you do.

• Submitting an article (+2)
• Having your article approved (+1)
• Attaching an image (+1 @ 10 max)
• Attatching a relevant Neoseeker profile (+1)
• Adding an alternate source (+2)

• Making a comment over 150 characters (+2)
• Making a comment under 150 characters (+1)
• Making more comments over 72 characters in the same article (+1)

[edit] Bonus Points

Articles that get over a certain score give the author bonus points.

• 30 rates (+5)
• 75 rates (+10)
• 150 rates (+15)
• 300 rates (+20)
• 500 rates (+25)
• 1000 rates (+30)
• 1500 rates (+35)
• 2000 rates (+40)
• 3000 rates (+50)

You can also lose points depending on what you do.

• Having one of your comments deleted (-4)
• An alternate source that you've added being removed (-2)
• Image deleted from an article (-1)

As you earn more points, you can move up a rank. This is a list of the first 40, with the amount of points you'll need to achieve them.
